Ready for an absolutely breathtaking wedding? You’ve come to the right place! This wedding was nestled atop a Mountain in the Texas Hill Country, the Ring Mountain Event Centerlocated in Comfort, TX. The location of this venue matched the excitement of the wedding party for sure (high and beautiful). From crazy toasts to sunset first dances this wedding was one I didn’t want to end. All the guests, and especially the family, was unbelievably kind and not to mention, quite hilarious! Chuck’s (one of the groomsmen) toast took the Gold for “best/funniest/most awkward/borderline inappropriate/heart felt toasts” and gave the best man a run for his money (although I wish I had written down some of the best mans jokes from his speech, they were oddly applicable to my sister and her fiancé!)
Ring Mountain or Joshua Creek Ranch has never ceased to impress. From Rehearsal dinners to weddings they sure know how to host. And may I just add, that cake may have been the best I’ve ever had, was it strawberry?
I love the way Lauren and I connected. She’s from Houston but her family lived in College Station for a while, we met in College Station and the wedding was in San Antonio. She’s a Red Raider (which I try not to hold against her) and Matt is an Aggie (shew). Lauren and Matt are such a fun and unique couple, I can’t wait to see all they get into in the years to come! And now, with pleasure, please get to know them a little better!

My favorite thing about my boo is his love for me. I know cheesy, but Matt is not a PDA man or someone who buys me flowers all the time. He just has this way about him that shows me how much he loves me. The way he smiles at me, or looks at me or every now and then he will grab my hand while riding in the car, give it a tight squeeze and then go back to driving like it was no big deal. He taught me love isn’t about buying things, or telling someone all the time how much you love them. He has his unique way of showing me his love and that is something no one can take away from me.

Maverick from Topgun!He would fit right in. ???? My boy is from a small town and a lot of his friends have the Maverick appeal. All of our guest are like that in a way. Very confident!
Dinner for 2 anywhere in the world…
On a beach in Fiji, barefoot of course! We are country, but we love our water. Since we live a country life most days our perfect dinner would be on the beach watching the sunset and just enjoying the sound of the ocean.
