Rachel and Jonathan tied the knot at Rancho Mirando in Fisher, TX. Rancho Mirando is a50-acreluxury ranch in the hill country-the perfect backdrop for a rustic wedding! The entire wedding party sported cowboy boots, and the reception had an adorable setup for s’mores! Our fabulous associate photographer, Jennifer, could not stop talking about how incredible the venue was! We couldn’t have been more excited to be a part of this Rancho Mirando wedding. I love how big Rachel and Jonathan are smiling in all of their pictures, and I couldn’t be happier for them to start their journey together as husband and wife!
Q&A with Mr. and Mrs. Davis:
Tell us about your first date!
Well, I wouldn’t technically call it a date, but we were both so excited bout it. Winter of 2007, my sister, Jonathan and I went to the Houston zoo. The entire time Ican remember walking around trying to make my hand accessible for him to hold. He swears that the entire time he was trying to hold my hand, but it was never open. I still think he is making that up..
What is a favorite memory from when you first started dating?
Probably the night he asked me to officially be his girlfriend. He told me to wear a dress and be ready at 7. He picked me up and took me to a surprise dinner, then asked later that night.
What are 3 things you treasure most about your fiance?
Rachel: His kind heart, how gentle, but how manly of a person he is, and his tendency to do the hard things – despite his fears
Jonathan: Her willingness to at least try to do whatever she can to make me happy, supports me and loves me unconditionally, and instills confidence in me for school
A special thank you to all of the vendors who helped make this day so special!
