And drum roll please as we finally announce….
Baby Ryan Isaac Brazeal!
What a joy filled time this is for us. We actually have a nameand a baby to go with it!Hurray! We decided to wait on sharing the name of our son so that we could keep a little suspense in the air. It also helped that, well, we didn’t even have a name yet until after he came into the world. We were determined that he would have a name with meaning. After traveling to Israel last summer we really felt like, even though we didn’t know if we could even have children yet, a name needed to have significance and meaning. All the spots and places we saw in Israel had so much deep meaning and we realized that the Lord even gave new meaning to people he used in the Bible. That added a little pressure to not just pick the first name thatsounded good. We wanted depth. So how did we pick Ryan Isaac? Ryan is Justin’s middle name, so we had the family portion down. Isaac is from the bible, he’s the son that Abraham and Sarah never thought they’d have. Our journey to have a baby took time and it was in God’s timing that we we’re able to get pregnant and definitely in God’s time when that little stinker was born into the world! (Yes, 15 day’s late!) Born on Halloween day at 2:11 PM!
Thanks to a wonderful newborn session by my dear friend Shannon at Shannon Morton Photographywe had the most relaxed and fun photo shoot. It was really important to us that we have the “whole family” in a few shots so Shannon also came over to the nursery and was able to take some photos of us in our natural habitat. I already have blank frames setting up all over the room ready to fill with Shannon’s handy work!
We’ve prayed and prayed for this little guy since before he was even in existence, we prayed for him while he was cooped up inside of me and we pray for him still. We thank each and every friend, family member and blog reader for their love and support. I know that every moment of this boy is determined not by me or by chance but by an all powerful God. It’s one of the biggest challenges I face everyday to not worry or fret about Ryan’s life but it’s nice to know I’m not the ones making the calls, but that someone far more competent is! Hope you enjoy a few of our absolute favorite photos of our new family. And of course Caddie dog had to make and appearance, she is after all the true first born! ???? hehe
