One of the most exciting parts in preparation for your wedding is of course, choosing your wedding dress! Today I want y’all to meet Lytrina, bridal stylist and founder of Belle Reve Bridal.Lytrina has a passion for weddings, wedding gowns, and making brides happy! I have seen some of her gowns on brides that I have gotten to photograph and I can reassure you, they were stunning. Here are some interview questions that we asked Lytrina about Belle Reve Bridal so that you can learn more about her and her business:
How did your business get started?
I have always had a passion for weddings and always knew that I somehow wanted to be apart of the wedding industry. After leaving my full time job as a Buyer, and after a year of preparation, Belle Revé Bridal Couture opened in November 2013.
How did your passion for bridal wear arise?
The first wedding I remember attending was when I was eight years old. I was in awe of the entire wedding process from start to finish. I loved the flowers, the cake, the joy the day brought to everyone, and most of all, the dress. Throughout my youth into adulthood, that day remained imprinted in my mind and I had a growing fascination for weddings that led me to opening Belle Revé.
What kind of wedding dresses do you offer?
We have a variety of dress that range in style from traditional to modern to romantic, all in an affordable price range. No matter what style of dress a bride is looking for, we have something she is sure to love.
How do you make the dress shopping experience unique for each bride?
Before arriving in our store, we have each bride fill out an online interview that tells us about the bride, her wedding, and what type of dress she is looking for. On the day of her appointment, we are already familiar with her wedding and we can easily recommend dresses that will fit the wedding day look she wants to achieve.
What is your favorite part about working here?
Seeing how happy a bride is when she finally finds THE dress and the emotion that sometimes leaves them in tears of joy is my absolute favorite part of being a bridal stylist.
What is your best tip for brides as far as wedding dresses go?
Be open minded. Don’t rule out a particular dress style unless you have tried it on. A lot of brides end up falling in love with a dress that is completely different than what they originally wanted.
What sets you apart from other bridal stores?
We have a very intimate setting. Our brides have the store to themselves during the appointment, and they have our full attention. Brides can sip on champagne while shopping for their dress without any stress, pressure, or distractions from others. At Belle Revé we believe that every bride deserves a five star experience no matter what her budget may be.
Anything else you would like to add?
In addition to dresses, we also offer other products and services such as invitations, and Lady-In-Waiting services where we are on hand for the day of the wedding to help the bride get dressed and be her personal assistant throughout the day. We also offer a service called the Royal Treatment where a bride can host up to 10 people in our salon after hours for refreshments, champagne, and music while she shops for her gown.
