When Laura and I first chatted on the phone about her wedding in March at Messina Hof Winery she gave me loads of cute details and had a lot of really great questions. She really wanted a photographer that would blend in and “mesh” well with the family. I was thrilled when she told me that after our talk (yes, we only had a single phone conversation before she booked with me!) she felt confident and relaxed about her wedding day photography! That thirty-minute conversation made my day! I loved being able to reassure and bring security to Laura that everything on the photo end was thoroughly taken care of. I was so excited and anxious to get to me Laura and Chris in person!
We decided, after many emails back and forth, on a location for their engagement shoot, which was to involve their two kiddos. We picked, of course, Tiny Boxwood in Houston near the Galleria. The lighting was beyond fabulous, the cookies were freshly baked and we were ready for our engagement shoot!
If words could only describe this afternoon…I’m not sure they can but I’m going to give it a whirl. Fun, energetic, delicious, silly, giggly, loving, hiding, kissy, goofy…am I painting a clear picture? I think I made Caroline, Laura’s daughter, drool half of the time as I talked on and on about the delicious cookies and cakes Tiny Boxwood serves up. I even convinced the family to stay after for a sweet treat. (I ate my words later as I realized I was forcing desserts on elementary kids before dinner! Oops! Sorry Laura, hehe).
Their wedding will be in March, only a few short months from now, at the beautiful Messina Hof Winery in Bryan, TX. I can’t wait to see what sweet adventures we get into! So excited to announce Laura and Chris are engaged!
