I still can’t believe my hubby let me take this Ireland trip ALONE!! He is so amazing, in many ways (PS he also never reads my blog so he will never know I’m saying any of this ;)
A trip to Ireland alone, YES PLEASE!
I went with my assistant and amazing associate, Tiffany. But we met over there so I had a lot of time to just sit and chill/read/stare at nothing/go to the bathroom alone/sleep/eat it was marvelous.
To those mama’s with little ones you know this kind of trip is rare and will most likely not happen again, in my whole life! Ha
What initially got me interested was a photography workshop and immediately I thought, “business expense!” I’m so glad I was pulled in by this because I feel like I learned so much more. Like how to drive on the wrong side of the road and navigate country backroads while eating beef jerky because how was I supposed to look up restaurants while driving?
We stayed at a 300 year mansion in the middle of a wheat field for most of the trip as well as a hotel in Dublin and Bed and Breakfast in Galway!
Check out some of my highlights from the trip. Don’t worry, at the bottom I added places to eat! We all know that is my priority, delicious foooood!
I also got to see one of my good friends that is living in Ireland with her SWEET family. I knew her from church growing up and it was like no time at all had passed when we got together. She is a rock star mom with a toddler and newborn in Ireland!!!
These top two photos are of the super old house we stayed in!
My friend/assistant/associate! Tiffany and I! We have gobs more photos from our phones but these are the prettiest! ;)
