When Ginger first introduced Hunt Villa to me, I’ll be honest, I had to google it. I hadn’t heard of a Hunt Villa Wedding Venue before but then I haven’t heard of a lot of ridiculously gorgeous hidden gems either! The Hunt Villa Wedding Venue is nestled, yes nestled, in the great pines of Texas. I grew up in the hill country of Texas and thought that was something else. Well folks, I had not ever seen the pines of Texas! Good grief!
You may remember Ginger and Brinson from their one of a kind engagement shoot involving Model-T Fords and stories of Alaska and road trips! Vintage does not even cover it. I think I’d have to go with…vintage, eclectic, novel, unique, adventuresome, classic, romantic, whimsical, antique, amazing! And those are just the beginning!
As Justin and I drove the 4 hour road to Longview, TX I couldn’t help but ask over and over again, “Is this really still Texas?” I felt like we were in the Northeast with the huge trees changing colors and the long winding roads with a wall of foliage on either side. We turned off a farm road onto a smaller farm road and turned a bend in the path to see a huge villa surrounded by pines. It was perfectly fitting for Ginger and Brinson.

Next comes the first time I’ve ever done a whole wedding guest photograph. And in a heart shape no less. I was able to put my teacher yelling voice into action since there was not a coordinator. So don’t judge too harshly on this heart shape, I did the best I could and luckily every one was amazing at listening! Thanks guys!
Ginger changed into an amazingly gorgeous dress for her get away! It even matched the colors of her Bridesmaids dresses!
I have never seen a Bride and Groom runthat fast! I remember looking through my lens thinking, “Oh my gosh, they’re going to run into me!” Thankfully they didn’t and even more thankfully I was able to click the shutter faster than they could escape! They’d definitely get at least silver in the 50 meter wedding dash!
