First stop, Athens! Our trip to Greece was exactly as it should have been. And did I mention…KID FREE!
A trip we’ve been dying to take…
We love our little nugget to the moon and back but let’s be real. It’s a true vacation when you can just relax and worry about getting your own self on a plane, boat and train and not forgetting your luggage. We take Ryan on trips not vacations. He’s not deprived, having flown out of country twice before he was two and countless other plane rides but we’re not talking about little guy.
I’d love to share with you where we stayed and what we did so that you will feel like you can take a trip to Greece and have nothing to worry about.
**Disclaimer, part of what made this trip so amazing is my dear dear friend, Morgan. She has been many times to this country and shared all her tips and secrets. Therefore we had the perfect travel planner!**
We were there for 8 nights plus spent 2 nights traveling. I had to beg, barter and steal to get Justin to agree to this length of trip and I had to pay Ryan’s first year of college tuition in babysitter fees (worth every penny) but 8 nights is what we got!
Athens is the capital and largest city of Greece.
I loved all the unique shops on the sidewalks here in Athens. Seriously, aren’t these hats just too cute?
Of course we had to get a picture in front of this ancient temple. The Parthenon was so huge, but an amazing site to see in person.
Check out this clip from the U2 Concert that I got Justin for his birthday !
