All we needed was a little more powdered sugar and we would be set to go! “This gender reveal party was going to be onesweettime”, Ashley and I both though as we slapped even more icing on the 3 layers of Orange Dreamsicle cake.
As you already know, a gender reveal party is a growing trend right now. It’s exciting to have your friends and family and even yourself wait to find out the gender of your baby all together. And a wonderful excuse to bake some delicious treats!
The Doss’ are our close friends in the area. Since moving to College Station it’s definitely been a challenge for Justin and I both to adjust to the town size. It was so difficult to leave San Antonio and all the friendships, Mexican food and memories we had there. However, I can very truthfully say the Doss’ are helping add all of those things we left behind become plentiful in our new home (maybe not the Mexican food part, but we’re getting on that ASAP).
Thanks for inviting us to such a special moment in your life’s Ashley and Matt. And congratulations on your coming bundle of joy, a baby…
If you hadn’t guessed, it’s going to be a girl! The name (as far as we all know) is going to be Josie Sue! We’re so happy for our friends and can’t wait to meet little Josie.
