We all know that I’m one of the biggest dog lovers of all times. I mean, our family portrait that hangs above the mantel is none other than my hubby, me and our dog! So when Maggie asked if it was, “okay”? to bring their little I said, “But of course!”
Maggie and I have a very unique connection. Although we had never met when she asked me to be her wedding photographer we felt like we had known each other! Her Aunt Jamie was basically a second mom and a HUGE lifesaver my first year of teaching 3rd grade in San Antonio. She stayed late hours, worked with me on Saturdays and gave me sanity! Jamie was an enormous help to me and I’ll be forever grateful! I’m thrilled to see her and their family again in May for Maggie’s wedding!
We decided that it would be a good idea to do engagements in the freezing, rainy and crowded downtown Gruene, TX. You may recognize Gruene Dance Hall from the movie Michael, staring John Travolta circa 1996. Maggie and Adam didn’t show a hint of the chili weather and were incredibly hilarious to work with. Their dry sense of humor were right up my ally. I can’t wait to see what they’ll pull out on the wedding day!
