When I first met Melissa and Brandon, I knew right away they would be a joy to work with.
Sure enough, when I arrived at Double Creek Crossing last Saturday, everybody was calm and ready to get started with pictures (which is a great sign when you are in the wedding industry!).
Melissa had told me beforehand that their ceremony was close to sunset, so we were hoping for enough sunlightto be able to take photos afterwards. Luckily, we ended up having gorgeous light during the ceremony and plenty of time to drive to the entrance of the venue for more photos after the ceremony.
Everyone was full of energy throughout the reception, and I was able to capture guests of all ages showing off their best dance moves on the dance floor. I have to complimentUniversal Sounds Entertainment, from Austin, TX, for doing such agreat job with the lighting all night. Melissa and Brandon’s first dance was accompanied by a spot light, and by the end of the night, neon strobe lights filled the dance floor. I must admit, one of my favorite photos of the night is of Melissa’s two boys dancing together with the incredible lights in the background. (Go ahead, you know you want to scroll down and sneak a peek!) To top off a great night, there were multiple flavors of pie for dessert from Must Be Heaven as well as some delicious bread pudding!
I had a wonderful time working with Melissa and Brandon and wish them all the best as they start their journey as husband and wife! Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. McDonald!
Thank you to everyone who helped make this day so special!
