I just had a good feeling about this wedding when I learned that Jenna and Dave brew their own custom beer. What? Who does that?
Well, they do, that’s who! Jenna and Dave are such a unique couple. They chose to have a Becker Vineyard wedding because of it’s beauty. See, Becker Vineyard was a destination wedding. They live in the Dallas area but loved the idea and atmosphere of a hill country wedding. And I”m so glad they did. Even though their day had some serious rain going on, they didn’t even bat an eyelash. (At least not that I saw! hehe). They went with the flow of things and were just so thrilled to be getting married, they didn’t let changing of plans get in the way.
The day went about in a whirl of excitement. I’m so honored to have been able to capture all the details for their wedding and preserve them in photographs. Their friends and family were so warm and welcoming any body would have felt like part of the gang at this Texas vineyard wedding.
I kid you not. They used my most favorite food as part of their centerpieces. Artichoke! Seriously, my all time favorite, I used to have trouble spelling it in 3rd grade, when the teacher asked, “favorite food? __________”. Even just now I had to use spell check (shh, don’t tell!)
Jenna and Dave first laid eyes on each other for their wedding day in the cellar of Becker Vineyards. What a cool and unique spot to share this moment!
After their first look, Jenna and Dave joined family and friends in the barrel room for all their group photos before the actual wedding. This left them feeling relaxed and calm for the ceremony and made for an easy transition into dinner and dancing!
The night was not absent of some good dancing. Tunes Across Texas did a great job keeping the party alive and going, going, going!
Jenna was so excited to create this picture. Believe it or not we were able to capture this on the first take. Not with out a few dry runs of unlit sparklers but not too bad!
