Can I use the images?
You will be giving up the right to use the images for your own portfolio. You can’t blog them or talk about them on your site/FB/Social media networks.
What equipment do I need?
You’ll need your own camera, full frame body preferably. At least 1 external flash plus all your basics such as (but not limited to) lenses, batteries, plugs, cords, stands, etc.
Do I need insurance?
It’s always a great idea to have your equipment covered. Your equipment is your responsibility.
Will I meet with brides?
Yes, more than likely there will be some sort of meeting before a bride books. JBP will equip you with all you will need.
What sort of training is involved?
There will be opportunities to second-shoot with Jen Brazeal along with ongoing mentoring sessions.
Will I have to edit the images?
You’ll be expected to cull your own shoot and send the images intended for editing to JBP. No editing involved!
What do I shoot in?
RAW
Can I still have my own photography business?
Yes, as stated above you will not be able to use any images from JBP. Your personal life or professional life is still all yours and if you have other jobs outside of JBP that is completely fine, as long as there are no conflicts that prevent you from doing your best.
How many weddings a year will I have?
Scheduling is up to you, so you could have between 2-15 weddings per year. The amount of work you take on is up to you!
