Have you ever gotten a really bad sunburn and then told yourself you would never tan without sunscreen again? But then you still did anyways? You can still get tan with sun protection! Being in the sun without sunscreen can create wrinkles, sunspots, and skin cancer. It can also dry out your skin, which can cause breakouts. Brides: as your wedding day gets closer, be aware of how much time you are spending in the sun and in tanning beds. More importantly, be aware of bathing suit tan lines! You do not want your tan lines showing on your wedding day. Protect yourself from the harmful rays this Spring Break by remembering to use waterproof sunscreen with an SPF of 15 or more, reapply often, and cover your whole body!
While we are on the topic of tanning for your wedding day, I also have to advice that brides stay away from the orange spray tan look. Your wedding photos are forever and you don’t want to regret that spray tan every time you look at them! If you do want to spray tan, make sure you do a trial run before the big day. Make sure you know exactly how it is going to look so that you know what to expect! Here are two articles that I found with some great tips about tanning for your wedding day: “Bridal Tan Tips,” and “Best Bride & Bridal Party Tan Advice Ever.”
